One of the benefits of living in and around the rural counties are the many opportunities to see wonderful sunrises and sunsets. This can be a challenge for city residents with all of the buildings and the many distracting lights. Today's image was taken while out on one of those drives through nearby horse farm country. It had been a somewhat mild day and I was heading for home. The sky began it's evening transition and I decided I would find a spot to catch the sunset. In the Worthington Valley section of the county there are plenty of places to simply pull off and view the horses.

After catching this last peek of the sun above the horizon I continued toward home, stopping once again to catch this Sky on Fire shot as darkness closed in.
Chasing the sun is one of my favorite things to do and no two sunrises or sunsets are the same. Everyday is a new adventure! ;-)
Thanks so much for visiting!
