Welcome to the weekend! Yet another week of fun has past in the world of photography and I am grateful for the many friendships that have developed since I've jumped back into what was once a long-time hobby. I so enjoy visiting the many sites I try to cover each week. So many great photogs, so little time. ;-)
Today we swing past a wall mural I located outside of an auto repair shop on South Central Avenue in Baltimore. This was literally a drive-by, as I captured the image while sitting at a red light. It's a single exposure that I tonemapped in Nik Software's HDR Efex Pro to add a little structure, then ran it through Topaz Labs' B&W Effects.
After applying the Sepia III filter and a bit of vibrance in PS, the original was layered in so I could scratch in a bit of selective color. By the way, this mural was painted in memory of Davey Allison (1961-1993). I cropped out the tribute verbiage since I had cut most of it off during the shot anyway.
Thanks for swinging by, peeps and have a fantastic weekend!
