Daylily Droplets

In today's post I dive back into the world of macro photography. This is something I really plan to do more of as time progresses as I realize that macro is a whole other universe, one that generates lots of ideas. In a previous post I was quenching the thirst of a Daylily while hanging out and beating the heat one early afternoon. The shot below is from that same outing and shows another Daylily. How many of those things are in existence anyway? Seems to be more species than you can count. :-)

The water droplets in this image are from a sprinkler, not actual rain water, but I learned a little something from that earlier post. Many photogs actually travel with spray bottles of water to add some effect to their shots, according to my man Len Saltiel. This was an idea that never crossed my mind but one that I'll not forget as it may come in handy someday.

Anyhow, on to today's image.

Have a great day folks and I'll see you out there as I make the rounds and help spread this wonderful craft we love.
