Happy holidays, I sincerely hope the season has been and continues to be all you have hoped for. As we approach the end of 2012 I have noticed a couple of things. One, December 21st has come and gone and the sun continues to rise so there was no Doomsday as predicted by many, and two, there are quite a few "12 for 12" (that's 12 favorite images for 2012) blog posts appearing in the photographic community. I had been thinking of some sort of "Year in Review" type of post with a limited number of images and this format seems perfect. So borrowing from that great idea, I present my first annual Delightful Dozen.
Now 12 for 12 has a nice ring to it but I don't want to come up with another name next year, nor do I want to begin a 13 for 13 (and so on) series. But I digress.
Below, appearing in no particular order, are a dozen of my favorites from 2012 and I hope you find them delightful. :-)
So there you have it, 12 images that I hope you enjoyed eyeballing. It was certainly fun creating them and each has it's own special memory about how it came about.
Before closing out, I want to acknowledge the first couple of posts I came upon that really settle me on this idea. Bob Lussier and Chris Nitz are great photographers and awesome guys to know. Check out their posts as well, you just passed the links.
This is the final post for 2012 but do visit next year. :-) Sounds so far away.
In the meantime, Happy New Year!
