Today's short post swings us past the Museum of Industry in Baltimore, a virtual time machine that takes us back to the past. Much of what's inside the museum focuses on the industrial growth of this great port city, but today we will have a peek at the outside beginning with the image below.
An old crane has been erected across the entrance gateway, a nice touch. I shot this from behind a thicket of tall, ornamental grass.
Next we have an image of a sculpture created from a variety of industrial parts, most of which I don't recognize with the exception of the heavy chain used on ships. :-)
The next post covering this site will take us inside where plenty of interesting items await.
Have a wonderful day!
