Welcome back, I hope you enjoyed a great weekend. During a recent trip in the southern Pennsylvania area I saw this old railroad bridge in the distance and wanted to get a closer look. It was around 7:30am and the sun has not long risen on this cold 14 degree (F) day. I walked across a large field, grass and weeds crunching beneath my feet, as it was the only way to reach this old deteriorating structure.
As I looked at the river below the bridge I could see ice beginning to form around the abutment and along the shorelines. It was extremely cold and the wind-chill factor must have been near single digits. I guess the best thing about mornings like this is the fact that you pretty much have the outside world all to yourself. :-)
Have a great day!
