In today's post we head back to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC where there is a huge exhibit of religious art. As one might imagine, many of the items on display date back centuries. There are hundreds and hundreds of artifacts and works of art on display in this very large exhibit, but today I simply want to provide a couple of images of the entrance to this section of the museum.
This is the view as you enter the exhibit area. The majority of these precious items are in sealed cases. Great for protecting them but not so great for photography. Occasionally you can find a situation where the lighting is nice and there are no reflections and other unwanted elements to deal with.
Above you can see doorways leading down other corridors. There are so many rooms and corridors in this section that you could spend the entire day viewing this one exhibit alone.
Thanks so much for visiting. I hope you have a great day ahead!
