We've reached the backside of the week and the days are passing quickly on my little R & R. Time flies when you're having fun, as they say. :-) Speaking of fun, are you on Google Plus? It's a really refreshing way to interact and expand your social network. I have been on a couple of weeks now and have fully enjoyed the experience. You can find me here. If you're on G+ and we've yet to connect let me know. Now on to today's post.
Outside of the historic Christ Church in Irvington Virginia stands a tall "Row of Goodly Cedars". This particular row of trees was a re-creation installed by the Garden Club of Virginia in 1968. These grounds and the colonial style church upon it dates back to 1732 when is was completed, replacing an even earlier 1669 structure. Listed on the Virginia Historic Society, the place is immaculately kept.
Like many of you, I enjoy historic sites and find them to be quite interesting. We will certainly explore many more historic places in future post but for now, enjoy the "Row of Goodly Cedars".
Have an awesome day, I'll see you out there!
