Welcome back! I hope you had a great weekend. It was a very nice one for me, although I didn't do a thing on the photography front, but was able to accomplish some other things on my list. Today we revisit the Susquehanna River outside of Harrisburg PA where I had taken some long exposures before the sun rose. I was on a foot bridge over the river around 4:40 am one Summer morning and can recall how quiet the surrounding area was at that time. Hardly a sound, just the quiet flow of the river as it slowly made it's way toward it's eventual destination of the Chesapeake Bay. The shot below was a 30 second exposure at F18, which slowed the motion even more. Such a peaceful time it was. ;-)
It was so dark at the time of this shot that I really didn't notice the paddle wheels on the stern of this boat until daybreak, well after the shot. I wondered if this was a water taxi but saw no real markings to indicate such on it's sides.
In the processing department, this is pretty much how it came off the camera with the exception of a couple of minor tweaks in PS.
Thanks for visiting!
