The old adage of a picture being worth a thousand words has always been true. Yes, it may be cliche' but one can never deny the power of an image.
"Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend." - Albert Camus -
I thought the quote above was so fitting for the image below, which shows my wife (center) and friends taking a morning walk along the beach in the Bahamas as the sun rises. Always on the lookout for an opportunity to capture the moment, I had them stand still briefly for a group portrait of sorts.

I guess they wondered why I was having them adjust and hold their positions. Little did they know, I was simply placing the sun on their shoulders. My thought was that the back-lighting from the sun would provide a nice silhouette image and I was not disappointed.
Since they haven't seen this yet, it may be a nice surprise. :-)
