The weather here in the Mid-Atlantic Region continues to mimic a roller coaster with temperatures at night dropping to below 20 degrees F, then shooting up to near 60 degrees during the day. Well yesterday it was a typical Winter day, cold and a dusting of snow. The image below is not from yesterday but from a sunrise in late October when we had a rare Halloween snow event. I took this shot a day or so afterward when much of the then 6 to 8 inches had melted away. There was still enough around to provide a little scenery and have some fisheye fun.
As the Sun worked it's way over the horizon and through the overcast sky, fog danced between the buildings in the distance. Made for quite a sight that morning.
Image has been cropped to provide a more panoramic view.
