Welcome back and thanks for your comments and sharing on the previous posts. ;-) Recently I visited the Samuel S. Lewis State Park in York County Pennsylvania to check out the place. It's located on 885 foot Mt. Pisgah so I expected to find some nice hiking trails and rock formations. Below are a couple of shots of the many rock formations I came upon while there.
I was a little amazed at how so many huge rocks found themselves stacked in piles, as if placed by hand. But nature always amazes me with it's strength and beauty.
While hiking the trail I was reminded, not only of it's sheer beauty, but also of how much I am not in the physical shape I once was. :-)
This gave me incentive to get out and do this type of thing more regularly.
I don't want to bore you with these so we'll save some of the others for future posts.
Thanks so much for visiting.
Rock on!
