With Labor Day marking the unofficial end of Summer here in the US, it's time for a catch up post to cover the past many weeks I haven't updated this blog. After the long, brutally cold Winter that brought us record low temperatures and record high snow accumulations, we are now only a few days from the start of Spring. I've been on the lookout for the early signs like Jonquils and Tulips breaking ground and Robins strutting about in search of worms. No luck so far but any day now, and it will be official.

We had not seen this friend in quite a few years and we all felt like it was fate that brought us all together once again. That old friend, a fishing boat once owned by a gentleman who was truly a near and dear friend for decades.
