In this short post I share a couple of pre-dawn photographs taken at the DC Tidal Basin. It's a place I love to visit and if you arrive early you can really make a great day of it before the crowds arrive.
Soon the Spring season will once again be upon us and there will be people in the parks, enjoying the great outdoors and life in general. Its been a long, cold winter and nearly anyone you speak with, has had more than enough. But we should simply realize that warmer weather, while still some weeks away, is something to really look forward to.
The Library of Congress here in the United States is arguably one of the largest and most international libraries on the globe. If you've never visited but somehow get the opportunity, you should definitely treat yourself to the experience.
The image in this post was created during the 2014 Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. I will always have fond memories of that great morning and it's surreal atmosphere with hundreds of photographers surrounding the DC Tidal Basin awaiting the sunrise.
