With Labor Day marking the unofficial end of Summer here in the US, it's time for a catch up post to cover the past many weeks I haven't updated this blog. Suffice it to say that this Summer has been a fast, furious and busy affair. So much so that I have been behind the scenes recalibrating my business strategies and preparing for the next chapter in this photographic journey.
There is something to be said about beach life and now that summer has officially arrived, people are flocking to beaches everywhere by the millions. It's an annual happening for many, including yours truly.
Just hanging out, smelling the salt in the air and watching the clouds go by. There is just something relaxing about the sights and sounds of life on the shoreline, particularly in the tropics.
Welcome back, my friends! The past week has been filled with fun and travel while away on vacation. We landed in the Bahamas and made our way over to Paradise Island where we are staying. The weather is spectacular, thanks to the dissipation of what was once tropical storm Dorian, which fizzled out long before reaching the islands.
Needless to say, I have been shooting lots of images and will be posting many of them in the weeks ahead. Today I wanted to share one of the very first images I created during our first morning here.

This 6:20 am shot was taken while I was out on a morning walk along the shoreline. Somewhat surprisingly, you can walk for fairly long distances during these early morning hours and encounter few people. That all changes by mid-morning as tourist and vacationers come out to enjoy this wonderful environment.
Thanks so much for visiting!
