It's been a very busy and productive week, a bit of a mini-adventure as I have juggled a couple of commercial shoots, work for Baltimore county and of course, my own personal life. I have just about completed the post-processing edits for the commercial side of things and I look forward to diving into the tons of images I have for this site and my galleries.
In this post I return to one of my favorite topics, architecture. Often I wander the streets of urban areas in search of eye-catching buildings and commercial establishments. On one such occasion I came upon the Bond Street Social in the Fells Point area of downtown Baltimore. It's a part of the old Bond Street Wharf, shown here in a previous post from 2011.
The Bond Street Social is an upscale dining and party establishment that offers a wonderful atmosphere and location to hang out and gather. They specialize in global cuisine, including dishes unique to the Chesapeake Bay area. I was in the area one morning and their storefront caught my eye while showing some nice reflections in the windows. There are times when I find the reflections as attractive as the main subject. :-)

Visitor's to the Baltimore area will find the Bond Street Social as a memorable place to spend an evening.
Thanks for clicking by. :-)
Happy Friday! After a couple of really busy weeks things are finally settling down so I can return to some semblance of normalcy. Life happens and we've all been there but some things just bring a sigh of relief when completed.
Today's photograph is simply a shot of a commercial building where suites are leased. A great place for restaurants, boutiques offices and other fine dining venues. It's located about 1 mile off of the interstate exchanges of I-83 & I-695 in Baltimore county. Great location, which is convenient to downtown Baltimore (approx. 15 mins).
I was asked to submit a few "nothing fancy" images for consideration in a publication. We will see how this unfolds, but I am a little psyched regardless of the outcome.
The image below was not submitted because of the lamp post on the left, which really bothered me since it is leaning toward the center of the frame.
I could clone out the lamp post with some time and effort but I wanted to provide images that were close to "as shot", keeping the retouching to a minimum.
Thanks for taking a peek and have a great weekend!
