Traveling the coastlines of the Chesapeake Bay and it's tributaries, you come across many interesting things to photograph.
Quick post today as Hurricane Sandy blows through the region. The rain began yesterday but the worst remains ahead. We're well prepared, just a matter of riding it out now. Today I thought I would post an image with a colorful, sunset sky, as I look forward to seeing the next one, which is days away. This image was taken on the other side of the Chesapeake Bay back in the summer during a trip to Maryland's Eastern Shore. I remember the intense heat of that day but also remember the fun of traveling on the open sea. As we approached the docks off of Taylor's Creek the sun was setting and the sky was transitioning toward the stormy night ahead.
Thanks so much for visiting!
Happy Monday, everyone. I'm hoping you enjoyed the weekend and the newly arrived Spring season. It seems that just about everything is blossoming now, which makes for some beautiful scenes. Great time to be out capturing images.
Today I have another toned image, similarly processed to the "Riverside Stroll" previously posted. It's a plain and simple image that I hope you enjoy.
This particular morning started off rather foggy but the sun burned away enough to make this capture possible before the light became too harsh. There remains some fog in the distance and the sky here, which actually helps with the overall color.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day.
