Welcome back from the weekend, I truly hope you enjoyed it. Now just days away from the Christmas Holiday, festivities are in full swing with decorations everywhere and celebrations aplenty. I really love this time of year as it presents so many opportunities to get together with friends and family, opportunities to create lasting memories as we begin the wind-down to another year. Here's to a safe and happy holiday season to all.
I will be posting through Thursday this week but will then take an extended weekend, returning on Tuesday December 27th.
Today's post features one of the many, many galleries within "The Met". New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art is a must-see kind of place if you're in the city. As photographers we love the visual arts and most of us would love to have our own gallery to display our creations. The image below seems typical of a gallery layout, plain and simple but trimmed with a bit of detail, but not enough to distract from the presentation of art itself.
The thing I like about art galleries is the fact that each one has it's own style and atmosphere. They are a great mix of architectural elements, color and of course, wonderful works of art.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
