Once again, it's iPhone Friday! Of course I am happy to see any Friday, since it is the beginning of the weekend. :-)
Another week comes to a close and the iPhone Friday series continues with a quick trip to the beach. As summer winds to a close, the kids have returned to school and the Labor Day Holiday is upon us here in the U S. It's a time of mixed feelings as we reflect upon the wonderful memories of summer 2013. On the one hand, there is so much to look back upon and smile, while on the other hand, we are really not ready for the season to end.
Here is a memorable moment in time captured with my iPhone while on Paradise Island.
A typical beach scene as captured while I was at poolside one midday afternoon. Ahh, the memories of those days. Gee, seems so long ago. :-)
I sincerely hope you enjoyed the summer and had the opportunity to create a little magic to look back upon.

It's iPhone Friday! Of course, any Friday is a good day since it's the opening of the weekend. :-)
Once again we return to the islands where I just love all of those tropical colored houses. It's one of the things that contributes to the festive atmosphere of places like this. On the way back from the Harbor Village Marina the rear of this particular building called upon me to photograph it.
It's just a plain and simple structure but the combination of the colors, the palm trees and the storm windows compelled me to raise the iphone and frame the moment.
Windows always invoke a bit of mystery and wonderment, particularly when you cannot see what's on the other side.
I cropped off the roof line and gutters, leaving the eave and soffit area as a top frame element and the shadows to frame the sides.
iPhoneography is a lot of fun!
Have a great weekend and thank you for stopping by.
Just outside of the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas is a quaint little village along the edge of the harbor. It's a great place for just hanging out. There are all sorts of shops and cafe's there, which draws a decent crowd daily. It's paradise for many tourist, just what most are looking for while traveling and enjoying life. Here in the village you can find everything from ice cream cones and beach sandals to 5-carat diamond rings and Cartier watches.
As mentioned in this previous post, I have joined in on the "iPhone Friday" fun so I provide you with this iPhone image below.
One of the things I have always loved about the tropics is the wonderful colors used for buildings. They just make everything seem so festive. But since this is a street scene of sorts, I though a monochrome conversion was in order as well.
Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for stopping by.
