There is something to be said about beach life and now that summer has officially arrived, people are flocking to beaches everywhere by the millions. It's an annual happening for many, including yours truly.
The Baltimore Harbor has been a historic seaport since the early 1700s when it was used as a point of entry for the tobacco trade. In 1729 the Carroll Family made available the tract of land now known as the Baltimore Inner Harbor, naming it Baltimore Town, in honor of the 2nd Baron of Baltimore, Cecil Calvert.
Continuing the thoughts of warmer weather theme, we have some beach town signs seen outside of a shop in Bethany Beach, Delaware. This could very well be a storefront in any beach town or seaside resort area, where there are souvenir shops that stretch for great distances.

It was reported that Punxsutawney Phil failed to see his shadow this past Groundhog Day so an early Spring should be coming soon. I don't particularly believe in that sort of legendary hocus-pocus, but I'll gladly accept the prediction.
More likely, there will be another 6 to 8 week run for that wonderful time of year we all love and cherish.
