While out on an evening drive I noticed the sky starting to setup nicely with color so I thought I would head toward the Indian River Marina to capture some of the light and catch this Indian River Sunset.
Welcome back! In this post we have a look at the magical light of nature at sunset. Walking the shoreline of a nearby lake we find a wonderful blend of contrasting skies, reflective water and vibrant wild grass in the foreground of this shot.

After setting up on the tripod, I was able to squeeze out a 3-second shot at f/22 in my attempt to create a little motion in the clouds. I had used a 9-stop ND filter (Hoya ND400) on the previous shot but the intense sky was overexposing.
With the light changing quickly I simply removed the ND and settled for this rather than loose the scene totally. Not as streaky of a sky as I had hoped but acceptable.
As always, I appreciate your visit and comments.
