As we move closer to another week's conclusion, I was thinking back to last Summer and what a great time that was. I also realized that there are a boatload of images yet to be processed from that time, so today I thought I would pull one from the stack. Below we see a tugboat, a common sight in and around Baltimore's inner harbor, as it makes it's way down the Patapsco River toward the Chesapeake Bay. These nautical workhorses can be seen maneuvering huge ships and barges with great precision. To accomplish the task they generate between 7oo and 3500 horsepower, quite an accomplishment for a relatively small vessel.
I've always had a fondness for these powerful machines as they go tugging along. :-)
Thanks so much for visiting.
As always, I appreciate your comments and support.
