When I think of tranquility I envision a peaceful, serene place to relax and enjoy life. A place to be one with nature where there are no parade of speeding cars zipping along or sirens disturbing the quietness of the moment. It's one of the reasons I love visiting shorelines and beaches, a sort of great escape if you will. In today's post I revisit the tranquil and serene Paradise Island where my latest attempt to become a certified "Beach Bum" was once again thwarted, forcing me to return to reality and thus, the not-so-bad life I have been fortunate enough to live. Pardon me for waxing sentimental, but now that Autumn has arrived a moment or two of Summer reflection was inevitable. :-)

This image was taken on a warm breezy morning with only the sounds a few passing sea gulls and of waves crashing upon the shoreline serving as background music. I recall looking up and down the coastline seeing only the occasional morning walker in the distance and thinking, "what a great place".
Thanks for Visiting!
