Happy Monday everyone, hope you had a great weekend. Today's image comes from atop Federal Hill, a place rich in history. It received it's name in 1789 following the actual ratification of the U S (Federal) Constitution. The hill once served as an observation point with it's great view of the harbor and the Patapsco River, an inlet of the Chesapeake bay. It was also once occupied by Union troops during the Civil War, as evidenced by the historic cannons stationed around it's perimeter. Below we look northward across Baltimore's inner harbor.
